HSRC helps teachers with TARMII
The Human Sciences and Research Council of South Africa is developing a software application named TARMII, to help teachers improve instruction. TARMII is short for Teacher Assessment Resources for Monitoring and Improving Instruction.
The HSRC contracted Upfront Systems to develop TARMII. The application will come prepopulated with assessment items for major subjects and cover a number of assessment standards. Teachers will be able to use the application to generate tests for students, grade tests and track student and class performance.
