FullMarks alpha launched
FullMarks alpha was launched at an 'Upload Sprint' held at UCT on 24 March 2010
Mark
Horner, of the Shuttleworth
Foundation launched the alpha-version of the FullMarks
assessment bank at University Of Cape Town today. Approximately 30
teachers from all over the Cape Peninsula spent the day getting
acquainted with the platform and being introduced to various open
resources for learning.
FullMarks is a simple, intuitive tool that helps teachers to capture
and share assessment items, generate tests, and capture and analyse the
results. It aims to support the continuous improvement of South African
educators, to improve the overall level/standard of assessments, and
allow for targeted support for learners.
We learnt a lot from the teachers' feedback during the sprint and thank
them for helping to improve FullMarks!
