FullMarks
An open assessment bank for the teacher community.
FullMarks is a simple, intuitive tool to share assessment items, generate tests, and capture and analyse the results.
It has been commissioned by Mark Horner, Shuttleworth
Foundation fellow, to complement his other Fellowship projects, the
suite of which are aimed at providing tools that support teachers in
the classroom through collaboration and sharing.
FullMarks is essentially an open assessment items bank. Teachers can
join freely, share and rate assessment items, create high-quality tests
for learners and capture and analyse the results. It was built in Plone and all
contents are available under open licence.
FullMarks will support the continuous improvement of South African
educators, improve the overall level/standard of assessments, and allow
for targeted support for learners. For a more comprehensive rationale
for the service, you can read Mark Horner's blog on it
here.
