Emanti Management - Development of eWQMS

Emanti Management is a group of expanding broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) water and environmental engineering companies. Their focus is to assist clients from the public as well as the private sector in finding effective solutions to water and environmental management responsibilities. Emanti Management provides assistance in meeting responsibilities, managing risks and prioritising focus areas. These services enable clients to maintain best practice and operate cost effectively. The company needed a system that manages the quality of drinking and waste water.

Emanti Management's water quality management system (eWQMS) was developed by Upfront Systems in Plone. The system enables municipalities to load all results of water samples onto the web on a monthly basis. They can also draw reports on the results, which enable them to obtain data on the water quality compared to SABS and SANS standards. In this way, possible danger zones can be identified. Municipalities all over the country currently use the eWQMS.
