Contemporary Gazette (2006)

The Contemporary Gazette distributes a newsletter twice a month containing summaries of South African legislation written in everyday language to make it more accessible to institutions, small businesses and individuals. Each item in the newsletter contains an executive summary, overview, fuller text and information on related matters.

Upfront Systems created a portal for Contemporary Gazette using Plone. When joining the portal, one can view summaries of laws in the archive and receive the newsletter. The portal currently has more than 20 000 members.
