TARMII
An assessment bank built and maintained by the HSRC
The Teacher Assessment Resources for Monitoring and Improving Instruction (TARMII) application was commissioned by Dr Anil Kanjee of the HSRC's Centre for Educational Quality Improvement.
The application is prepopulated with assessment items prepared and tested by the HSRC. These items cover a number of assessment standards and are structured in accordance with the curriculae of the South African education system. Teachers are able to use the application to generate tests for students, grade tests and track student and class performance. There is a desktop installation and a web-served version.
